Hi there, Daniel!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I'm so happy to hEAR you're planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort next month. It's going to be a wonderful time to be in The Most Magical Place on Earth, as preparations will be in high gear to commemorate the 50th Anniversary!
The World's Most Magical Celebration kicks off October 1, and all four parks will be joining in on the fun.
Beginning October 1, Guests will get to experience two new Nighttime Spectaculars (
Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park and
Harmonius at Epcot). At this time, there are no fireworks shows listed on the
Park Hours calendar for September 28 or 29 at
Epcot, I'm assuming in preparation for the debut of the new show (which I've heard is going to be AMAZING).
Happily Ever After Nighttime Spectacular will take a final bow at
Magic Kingdom Park on the evening of September 29. I'm planning to be there to say goodbye that night - it's such an awesome show, and it will be missed. That being said, I can't wait to see what's in store with the new shows!
If you'll be staying through October 1, you'll also have a chance to enjoy several other new offerings for Guests to celebrate the 50th:
Beacons of Magic, the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection,
Disney Kite Tails (Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park), and an all-new attraction in Epcot -
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. There are so many amazing things on the horizon!
Please come back and visit us here at planDisney if you have more questions before you arrive. Our panel is made up of moms, dads, grandparents, and more, who are Guests - just like you! We love to share tips and advice from our own Disney vacation experiences to help add a bit of extra magic to yours.
