    where in the Epcot parking lot does the marathon start at 5:30 am on 1/8? Will monorails be running? Breakfast at 3:00am for runners?

    Hi Marylou!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    The Walt Disney World Marathon staging area is actually in parts of the Wonder Lot, Imagine Lot and Explore Lot at Epcot.  The majority of the staging is in the Wonder Lot.  Runners will walk (about a 10-15 minute walk) to the actual starting line and corrals.

    Monorails will begin running around 3:00 a.m. on race morning.  Most Walt Disney World Resorts will have some runner's breakfast items available in the resort lobby.  Additionally, there will be vendors at the race staging area where you can purchase breakfast items and drinks.  I like to buy bagels and peanut butter and have them in my room for when I get up.  But, there will be options for you if you don't have something in advance.
