We are going to Epcot next week and we have a supper reservation at 5:30 pm at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. What is the best route to take to get there? Bus or boat and how long should we plan on traveling? Thanks

    Hello Kimberly,
Oh boy!  Your magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort is right around the river bend and I can just imagine how excited you must be feeling because I know how I love it when my own counter to Disney gets right down into the single digits.
The beautiful Cabins and The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are amongst some of my most favourite spots to stay on Disney property and I'm assuming here that you've supper planned after your Disney day at Epcot at the delightful Trail's End Restaurant; where a warm welcome and delicious food awaits each and every Guest!
I suggest your happy trail from Epcot to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort should begin by boarding the Epcot Monorail headed for the Magic Kingdom Park before walking to the dock to board a water launch on the Walt Disney World Water Transportation headed for
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  Guests disembark from the water launch at the dock for the Settlement Depot where it's only a short stroll to the Trail's End Restaurant.
When allowing for journey timings between Disney destinations I always give myself plenty of time because after all I'm on vacation I don't like to rush!  Therefore I would most likely allow at least 1-1/2 hours to arrive in good time and without undue travel stress.
    Have a great Disney day.
