    We will be at Epcot for New Years Eve and I was hoping to book the Frozen Dessert Party so we could have seats for Illuminations, but it isn’t being held then. Do you have any other suggestions for seating ?

    I am excited to hear you will be spending New Year’s Eve at Epcot. I cannot think of a better way to welcome 2019!

    How about timing a dining reservation with IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth? On December 31, 2018 this fireworks spectacular is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. so I recommend making a reservation at around 4:30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. at a restaurants that may offer seating overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon. La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico pavilion has beautiful tall windows which offer great views. Spice Road Table in the Morocco pavilion is also a good option with both outdoor and indoor seating. The most popular destination for Guests wishing to enjoy a meal and fireworks is Rose & Crown Dining Room in the United Kingdom pavilion – the covered patio and outdoor tables are coveted spots! Please note, however, that while you may request to be seated at a window or outdoor and patio table, Cast Members may not be able to accommodate your request or you may have to wait longer to be seated. If you decide not to make dining reservations, there are several great viewing areas all around the World Showcase.

    Moms Panel tip: Don't miss New Year’s Countdown Fireworks at 11:40 p.m., and if you wish to ring in the New Year in style, La Hacienda de San Angel will host a New Year's Fiesta from 9:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. with a 5-course, prix fixe dinner. Reservations can be made by calling (407) 939-3463.
