Hi Michael!
One of the awesome things about Walt Disney World Resort is the variety of
transportation options that Guests can use to travel during their visit. In fact, my boys often feel like the bus ride, boat ride, monorail ride, or Skyliner ride from our Disney Resort hotel to our theme park destination is the first attraction of the day!
The EPCOT
monorail station is located at the
EPCOT main entrance at the front of the theme park. The
Disney Skyliner station at EPCOT is located at the International Gateway entrance, which is located at the back of the theme park in World Showcase. Unfortunately, there’s no way to walk between these two stations without walking through EPCOT. The only way to travel from the EPCOT monorail station to the EPCOT Skyliner station without entering the theme park would be to use a car service to travel from the front of the theme park to one of the resorts along
Disney’s BoardWalk and then walk from the resort to the Skyliner station.
I’m not sure what the overall route is that you’re trying to take, but considering the difficulty of traveling from the monorail station to the Skyliner station, there’s probably a more efficient way to travel your route. I recommend that you download the
My Disney Experience mobile app and use it to get directions for your overall destination. The app provides turn-by-turn navigation for locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort using all of the complimentary transportation options, so it's perfect to help plan your vacation routes. You can also
send us another question with more information about your starting point and destination and I or another of my fellow planDisney friends can give you recommendations on your best travel options!
T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
