Hi Michelle,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I’m excited to hear about your plans to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort, with this special itinerary of
EPCOT plus
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Memory Maker is a bare necessity for my family, so let’s review what you have and what’s possible for this trip.
Memory Maker is a product that allows you to download images captured by Disney PhotoPass Photographers and on-ride attraction photos throughout the four theme parks and resorts. This is available as a One Day purchase or a purchase to cover the length of your vacation.
The One Day Memory Maker option becomes available once you have images associated with your account, but for those of us who visit the Walt Disney World Resort frequently, this can be less intuitive if you already have images from a previous visit in your account.
Hakuna matata – no worries!
For your trip, purchasing two One Day Memory Maker products will cost less than purchasing the vacation-sized option. Be sure that you have not yet linked your One Day product to a set day in your
My Disney Experience App and wait to do so on your EPCOT day. You can then repeat this process, purchasing the One Day Memory Maker for the following day and link it to the date of your visit to Magic Kingdom Park for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party as soon as you have any photos taken that day. Please be sure you do not activate the purchased One Day Memory Maker until you have photos taken on the day you wish to download images from.
If you’d rather purchase the full Memory Maker product for this visit, the friendly Disney PhotoPass team can help you upgrade by applying the cost paid of One Day Memory Maker to the vacation-length purchase. You can reach a
Disney PhotoPass Service Specialist by phone at 407-560-4300. They are open seven days a week from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Eastern Time. One of these magical Cast Members will be able to assist you further with technical support not available to us Guests.
You’re going to have an amazing time on this special fall visit, Michelle. I can understand wanting to capture every moment together!
EPCOT continues to be the epicenter of the Walt Disney World Resort’s Disney100 celebration, and I know you’ll love all the spooky photo opportunities at Magic Kingdom Park the next evening. Keep an eye out for the
PhotoPass team in their new bright green apparel so that they capture every special pose together!
Please swing by and see us again with any other questions you may have. Our team loves to help you make the most of any Disney vacation through our experience, research, and heartfelt advice.
Say cheese!
