Hi Rebecca and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I cannot wait to visit the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival this fall and taste as many of the delicious foods as I can! I always look forward to broadening my culinary horizons at the Festival. This year I'm looking forward to starting my day with a Chocolate Croissant and a Tropical Mimosa from Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar. Check out the
Menus for the Global Marketplaces to see all of the new and returning favorites that will be available.
I spoke to a Cast Member to better understand how to use the Disney Dining Plan at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival, particular since the Dining Plan added the flexibility of choosing an alcoholic beverage for guests age 21 and older with their meal entitlements. As usual, you can use a Snack credit to purchase items indicated as snacks on the menu. There are some non-alcoholic beverages that are considered snack items.
If you want to trade a Quick Service meal entitlement for Snack credits, you may trade the Quick Service meal for three Snack credits. You will have to use all three Snack credits at the same Global Marketplace. While a beverage is included in the Quick Service meal, once you trade it for Snack credits the beverage is no longer included. You can use one of your three Snack credits to purchase a beverage that is indicated as a Snack on the menu, typically soda or bottled water.
Rebecca, thank you for stopping by with your question. Be sure to let us know if you have any other questions about the Disney Dining Plan and/or the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!
Wishing you a magical and delicious vacation,
Amy H.
