Royal Greetings, Tanya!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney. Tanya, how exciting that your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World is just around the riverbend. Our family often visits this time of year, and with all of Disney - but especially EPCOT - in full bloom, it is such a special time to enjoy the magic of Disney.
Tanya, to visit EPCOT during this time of year, all you need is a valid theme park ticket and a valid
theme park reservation if it is required with your type of ticket. Date-based tickets do not require a theme park reservation. I am excited to share that all Guests visiting EPCOT from March 5th through June 2nd, 2025, get to enjoy the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden festival. You do not need anything extra to participate in this special event.
You will see
beautiful topiaries of your favorite Disney characters throughout the park, but there are quite a few located in the World Showcase area. While the topiaries vary each year, the ones in front of the French Pavilion are always my favorite. One year they had Remy and another year they had Belle and the Beast. They are simply awe-inspiring.
There is also typically a fun scavenger hunt you can participate in throughout the World Showcase and get a prize at the end when you complete the hunt. Stop by select festival merchandise shops to purchase your card, including Creations Shop, World Traveler, and Disney Traders.
Additionally, you will find a variety of booths selling garden and flower themed merchandise; specialty food offerings at many "Outdoor Kitchen" locations with spring-inspired designs and garden-fresh ingredients; the colorful butterfly garden which is a wonderful spot to walk through; and the Garden Rocks concert series at the America Gardens Theater (the outdoor theater located across from the American Pavilion.) You can check out the
schedule of performers here, but last year, we were lucky enough to see Rick Springfield perform, and it looks like he is returning again this year. If you'd like premium seating for one of these performers, check out the
Garden Rocks Dining Package, which will include dinner at a select time and premium seating for the concert.
My top tip to you Tanya is to be sure and get an Orange Bird souvenir sipper as a memento from this visit. The delicious orange slushie beverage is the taste of the festival in my opinion, but the Orange Bird sipper is an adorable keepsake to take home as a souvenir. The festival also usually has special merchandise for sale and it's another great way to take home memories of your visit to Disney and this fun festival.
I hope this helps you, Tanya! If you have any further Disney planning questions, stop back here to see me. Because after all, you've got a friend in me!
Enjoy making magical memories!
Keri
