We have a Epcot fireworks cruise for January 3rd. Do you know if we can go little earlier and grab something to eat at the boardwalk or Beach Club marketplace. I wasn’t sure how early we can park at the yacht club prior to the time we board the boat. Thanks

Hi, Melinda, and welcome to planDisney! I think an Epcot Fireworks Cruise sounds like the perfect way to start 2026! Enjoying Luminous The Symphony of Us fireworks spectacular from the comfort of a chartered boat near the World Showcase Lagoon sounds like pure magic!

I've got good news, Melinda. My experience has been that you can park at Disney's Yacht Club Resort at least 2 hours before your event. Of course, this will depend on the day, so it is up to the security cast member at the entrance to the resort parking lot. There is no set time that guests are allowed to enter the resort area in their vehicle, but as long as there is sufficient parking available, I have always found the cast members to be accommodating. When you arrive, let them know that you have a Fireworks Cruise booked. They will likely check your identification and direct you where to park.

Luminous is scheduled to begin at 9 pm the evening of your Fireworks Cruise, so you should plan to arrive at the Bayside Marina at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts by 7:45 pm. All times are subject to change, so be sure to check the My Disney Experience Mobile App for any updates. The Fireworks Cruises can be canceled for inclement weather, but they do still take place when it is cold or raining. I recommend you keep an eye on the forecast, which - as you know - can be quite unpredictable in central Florida.

My family loves to spend time at Disney's Boardwalk. There is so much to see and do in this area, especially on a Saturday evening! While your Fireworks Cruise includes snacks, It makes sense that you would want to grab something to eat before setting sail. As you mentioned, Disney's Beach Club Marketplace is a great quick-service option. I hear their Caprese Sandwich is surprisingly good. If you're looking for something a little more on-theme with the Boardwalk, I suggest a corndog from Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs. Trust me when I tell you that you will not leave hungry! Finally, I can't talk about the Boardwalk area without recommending The Cake Bake Shop Bakery by Gwendolyn Rogers. You need a reservation to enjoy a sit-down meal at the restaurant, but you are welcome to go to the bakery for an unbelievable selection of decadent desserts, including brownies, cookies, and macarons. Simply walking through this bakery is an experience, and the cake slices are generous enough to share between two or more!

I hope you have the most magical time on your EPCOT Fireworks Cruise and a very happy New Year, Melinda! Please be sure to stop by planDisney if you have any other questions.
