We will be at Epcot Feb 28th. I made a res for the Princess dinner but couldn't find ifinfo on illuminations that night. If so, what time. Please Help! Also, would my 4 and 2 year olds enjoy illumination or is it too old for them. You guys are great!!

    Hi Kerri,

A princess dinner is a great way to end a day in Epcot!

Illuminations is a beautiful show combining lights, lasers, pyrotechnics, music and other special effects.  It will be shown at 9:00 PM, just before park closing on February 28.

I think your children would enjoy the show, although, my little girl doesn't really like fireworks or the noise associated with them.  If you have a child with a similar personality, then this show may not be for you.  It can get quite loud.  It's also rather late, and the amount of people exiting the park after the show makes for a very crowded wait in the transportation lines to get back to the resorts.

Basically, I would play this event by ear.  If your children seem up to having a late night, then go for it.  If they start to get tired and cranky, I would skip it.  You'll have an easier exit out of the park, and it will give you an excuse to visit Epcot again someday.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
