I will be at Epcot with my family next Sunday and I have an important university zoom for ~90 min in the middle of the day. Is there anywhere quiet in the park that I can participate in this meeting?

Hiya pal! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by to bring us your question.

I have a confession to make: As someone who works remotely, I have absolutely taken my work to the parks from time to time. And let me tell you, immersing myself in magic while working makes it MUCH more enjoyable!

I have great news! EPCOT is probably the best park to hop on a zoom call. There are a plethora of spots you can find that will be secluded and potentially quiet, so you can hop on your zoom during your visit. Here are some suggestions for you!

Japan Pavilion: Behind the Gojunotofive (pagoda), you will find a set of stairs that leads to some shaded areas with tables near Katsura Grill. Grab a cool drink, pick a corner, and enjoy the zen vibes during your call.

The Land Pavilion: Inside The Land, down the escalators, you will find the Sunshine Seasons dining hall. If you look around where the line for Living With The Land wraps towards the back, you’ll see some tables tucked away that, during those slower mid-day hours, might be a great spot with air conditioning!

Canada Pavilion, Gardens & Patio Areas: Behind the main pavilion, near the waterfall and stone bridge, there are small benches tucked into the gardens that are usually very quiet mid-day. Perfect for a little Zoom escape with ambient nature sounds instead of noisy crowds.

There’s also a covered patio area near the back of the pavilion by the shops and restaurants (Le Cellier area). It’s shaded, has seating, and is often overlooked by most Guests. A little corner of peace right in the middle of World Showcase.

I hope these suggestions are helpful! Be sure to remember to pack those noise-canceling headphones just in case there's ambient noise you want to drown out. Also, the My Disney Experience app can also help you identify areas that tend to be less crowded at that time of day.

I know you’re going to rock this Zoom and still soak in all the Epcot magic! Wishing you a smooth meeting and a pixie-dusted day full of laughs, snacks, and maybe a little Frozen Ever After magic in between!

    See ya real soon,
