Hi there, Monica!
Welcome back to planDisney! It's always such a treat to help Guests who turn to planDisney each time they have a magical vacation on the horizon. Speaking of treats, you're here to discuss one of my favorite topics - dining at EPCOT - so let's dig in!
Like you, I love spending my day at EPCOT snacking my way around the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival's Global Marketplaces. Have you seen the
Disney Eats Foodie Guide that was recently released on the Disney Parks Blog highlighting the festival's delicious offerings? With so many options, I truly don't know where to start! (Who am I kidding? I always start in Mexico.)
Of course, it's difficult to pass up the opportunity to dine under the sea (
Coral Reef Restaurant), among the stars (Space 220 Restaurant), or with your favorite characters (
Garden Grill Restaurant) when the opportunity presents itself, even in the middle of a delicious seasonal festival. With this in mind, I'm happy to share that a reservation at
Space 220 Lounge will give you access to the incredible experience of traveling 220 miles above the Earth to Centauri Space Station, out-of-this-world views while dining inside the restaurant, and a menu of lighter bites that won't spoil your festival appetite! My husband and I are fond of the Astro Deviled Eggs and the inventive Atmospheric Spirits menu. Please keep in mind that because this dining experience is so popular, you'll want to make your reservation
as soon as your window opens. If you find there is no availability initially, I encourage you to keep checking back. I've even been able to secure a same-day reservation as people change their plans just before the cancellation window expires.
A Bit of Pixie Dust from the Panel: I always love to grab a
mini festival-themed gift card when I arrive in EPCOT to help track my festival spending. These can be purchased and reloaded at several locations throughout EPCOT and come with an attached wristlet for ease of payment at each stop.
I hope this was helpful, Monica! If you have any additional questions, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
