    Hello Dana!

Thanks so much for submitting a question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Disney Gift Cards are accepted at all Disney owned and operated locations where credit cards are also accepted.  You will, therefore, be able to use gift cards at the vast majority of venues at all four theme parks, the water parks, Disney Springs and at the resort hotels.  Some carts and other outdoor vendors selling merchandise may not be able to accept them.  However, you can use them to purchase theme park tickets, pay for parking and for dining at Disney owned and operated restaurants.  The Disney Gift Card even has a "wearable" version that you can use at the Water Parks, which comes in very handy when you are wearing a bathing suit and your valuables are locked in a locker!  You can also use gift cards to pay off or down the balance on any charges made via your MagicBands throughout the parks.  I give my kids Disney Gift Cards at the beginning of each trip so that they can pick and budget for their own souvenirs.  I find them to be convenient and fun.  Disney Gift Cards are a preferred gift in my home, and a great option for saving for and budgeting for a magical vacation in my opinion.

I hope you have a wonderful trip!
