Epcot din 7pm. MK fast pass 9. Worried about fireworks interfering with transport. I hear easiest way to MK is walking to boardwalk & taking bus to MK. Was thinking drive to mk, bus to Epcot, then bus back to mk for rides. All suggestions appreciated!

    Hi Mallory!

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel. You're asking about 3 of my favorite things — dining at Epcot, standing spellbound watching Happily Ever After, and enjoying a FastPass+ attraction at Magic Kingdom.

Yes, you can easily exit Epcot by the United Kingdom Pavilion and walk over to an Epcot-area resort. Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and Walt Disney World Swan Hotel provide bus service to Magic Kingdom. Of these, I'm thinking Disney's Beach Club Resort is a closer walk. You can check out the interactive map and get a feel for yourself.

The My Disney Experience mobile app is an even cooler tool to find your way from magical point A to magical point B. Say, for example, you want to get from Coral Reef Restaurant over to Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom. Simply tap on your destination on the interactive map and tap "See Transit Directions."

For me, personally, my favorite way to get from Epcot to Magic Kingdom is riding the the Epcot Monorail and the Express Monorail.

I think the best route depends on the location of the Epcot restaurant, and where you want to go after Magic Kingdom. You have a few convenient options.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
