Hello. We will be at Epcot on December 14th, 2017. If we attend the 6:45 candlelight processional, would we be able to make it to a 8:05 Akershus reservation in time? Thanks!

    Hi Joy!

It sounds like you are planning for a great day and evening in Epcot during your Walt Disney World vacation. December is such a wonderful month too in that park with all of the special holiday entertainment and special events.

The Candlelight Processional is one of my favorite all time Disney events and one that I will try to see every year. They have three showings each evening and the stand by lines are immense with no guarantee you will get in. Your best bet is to book some sort of dining package that will allow you in no matter what for the time reserved. Many times you can book a lunch for this package so it would not interfere with your Akershus dining.

If you are able to see the 6:45 program it will last approximately 45 minutes. You would then need to walk quickly over to the Norway Pavilion where the  Akershus Royal Banquet Hall princess dining is held. That should be plenty of time to do this but you will not want to linger along the way. I am always tempted to stop in Germany and pick up some of those great caramels!

Remember that once you are done with your princess dining you still have another opportunity for some holiday magic. The Holiday Illuminations will take place at 9:30pm around the lagoon. Find a good spot and stay for this very special show that includes an extra display.
