I want to be in Epcot in Dec & want to attend the Candlelight Procession. I just read the boats stop running a couple hours before the park closes. Does this mean we would have to walk the entire park to get to Epcot's parking lot?

    Hi Susan!

Walt Disney World during the holidays is my favorite time to visit! The holiday feeling is abundant throughout the Resort with the rich decorations, special activities and delicious holiday treats. The Candlelight Processional at Epcot is a fantastic experience and brings me to tears every time.

You read correctly that the ferry boats around World Showcase Lagoon stop running in the evening.  They clear the water to start preparations for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth which takes place in the middle of the lagoon.  Guests must walk to the exit, but it's a beautiful stroll after dark.  If you're planning on staying for IllumiNations, find a spot closest to the exit for viewing.  Mexico or Canada have excellent viewing areas and this will help break up the walk between the Candlelight Processional and the exit.

    Have a magical day!
