Oh boy! I know that you must be super excited about your upcoming vacation. It’s only a couple of days away—eek! As a mom of two little ones, I am more than happy to answer your question to help you create this keepsake for your little Mouseketeer.
You can purchase and embroider Mickey Mouse ear hats at EPCOT’s
Gateway Gifts near the Spaceship Earth attraction. I love the assortment of ear hats and headbands that are there, but I was unsure if you could embroider items there like you can at Magic Kingdom Park’s
Town Square Theatre or Disney Springs’s
Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories store. So, I contacted a friendly Cast Member, and you can indeed get the ear hat embroidered at Gateway Gifts.
Its location near the front entrance makes it a great morning stop before enjoying everything the theme park has to offer (like the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival). Sometimes, depending on how busy it is, the embroidery shops will take your phone number and will text you when your gift is ready.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you find yourself at Magic Kingdom Park when your infant is a bit older, I highly recommend that they get their first haircut at
Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street, U.S.A. My younger son did this, and it was one of the most magical experiences that I’ve ever had at a Disney theme park. You’ll get an embroidered Mickey ear hat, a certificate, and a sprinkle of pixie dust on your little one. And sometimes the Dapper Dans will stop by to serenade you!
