    Hi! We are going to Epcot 3/11/12, and currently have ADR at Cape May Cafe @ 6:45pm. We want to have enough time to make it back over to Epcot for IllumiNations @9pm. The only other time available is 5:35pm. Which time would you recommend? Thanks:)

    Hi Rebecca:

    A dinner at Cape May Cafe should take about an hour and 15 minutes, give or take.  Unless you really really really linger over coffee, you should be wrapped up by 8:00 pm, especially if you tell your server at the beginning of the meal that you are hoping to leave by 8:00 pm or so.  The World Showcase entrance to Epcot (where IllumiNations is held) is about a 10-15 minutes walk from Cape May Cafe.  So you should have enough time to enjoy your meal at Cape May Cafe at 6:45 pm and be able to stroll over to Epcot's World Showcase well in time for the 9:00 pm IllumiNations start time. 

    But since you are on vacation and probably don't want to feel any anxiety, you could switch to the earlier dining time.  You'll then be able to enjoy the shopping opportunities offered at the World Showcase shops before the fireworks begin.
