If Epcot closes at 9 pm, and Illuminations is on at 9pm..how late can I wander around world showcase for?

    Hi, Suzanne!

As soon as Illuminations begins in Epcot, each of the countries will close for the evening. You are welcome to leisurely exit the park and the World Showcase area once Illuminations ends but know that all attractions will be closed.

Usually once this nighttime spectacular is complete, my family heads to MouseGear for any last minute souvenir shopping. We let the crowds filter out a bit then head to our car or Disney bus.  This seems to be the best way to avoid the rush at the exits.

Have a wonderful evening in Epcot!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
