I will be in Epcot for the beginning of Food and Wine Fest. I have Deluxe plan, and from what I'm reading in a few places some of the tasty treats in the countries are "snack eligible" is this true? all snacks?, some?, is there a price cap?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, James!

You're traveling to Walt Disney World Resort at what is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. We are a big foodie family and we love to visit during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. I have to take a day or two of our vacation to stroll around World Showcase sampling all of the incredible dishes that have popped up at the Global Marketplaces.

I'm also a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan, and I think it's an absolute must-have when you're visiting Epcot during this Festival. You read that some of the delicious menu items are available for a Snack credit on the Dining Plan, but I would even go so far as to say that you'd have to look for a while to find a treat at one of the Global Marketplaces that isn't eligible. There are some things available that don't count as snacks, like alcoholic beverages and a few full-sized meals, but most of the items are tasting-sized portions that you can enjoy for a Snack credit! There isn't necessarily an upper price limit either, and I actually think some of the best values are things that you can find at the Festival, like the Le Cellier Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle-Butter Sauce, which you can usually only get with a reservation at Le Cellier Steakhouse. Any menu item with the purple and white Disney Dining Plan logo next to it is eligible as a Snack, so make sure to have a good look around when you're there later this summer.

    Happy snacking, James!
