Hi There! Welcome to planDisney, Ralph! I'm so happy to be able to help a fellow New Yorker!
If you ask me, a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort is always a good idea. Whether you're the ultimate thrill-seeker, like me, and want to hit every attraction possible, or you're just there for the food and ambiance (also me, if I'm being honest), you're bound to have a magical day!
Theme park tickets are priced per day for general admission into the parks. So, since it's not a price per attraction ticket, there is no alternate option available for Guests who aren't looking to ride any attractions. But, just because someone might not enjoy rides doesn't mean they won't have an equally memorable day in the parks!
So, let's talk about some things to do together as a family outside of rides. Walt Disney World is famous for its world-class entertainment. You can head over to
Disney's Hollywood Studios to enjoy a performance of
Beauty & The Beast Live on Stage, or spend the day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom and see my favorite show,
A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King. The cast of these shows are so incredibly talented, and their performances will blow you away! Over at
EPCOT, spend some time exploring World Showcase, where you can dine on delicious global cuisine and discover unique cultures from around the world. Finally, don't forget to keep an eye out for one of the fabulous
cavalcades to wave hello to some of your favorite Disney Characters, like Mickey, Minnie, and so much more! This is just a tiny sampling of the fun things you can do at Walt Disney World without ever needing to board an attraction!
Ralph, I do hope this answer has been helpful to you! Please visit us if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World vacation!
Bye for now!
Diana
