Hello Elizabeth! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Wow, that is a big group of people going on vacation with you, it sounds like so much fun.
I would suggest making a dinner reservation at
'Ohana, located at Disney Polynesian Village Resort. 'Ohana is my family's favorite meal at Walt Disney World, in fact, we try to eat here at least 2 times every time we visit. The food is all-you-care-to-enjoy all cooked in the middle of the restaurant on a wood fire grill. Starters include items like bread, salad, chicken wings and pork dumplings. The main course includes steak, chicken and shrimp skewers with sides like Asain noodles and veggies. Dinner ends with the most delicious bread pudding topped with a bananas foster sauce and ice cream. The food is simply fantastic and pleases a lot of people with different tastes. I think it would be the perfect spot for a group that big. Not only is the food fantastic but the atmosphere of the restaurant is as well. Everyone is referred to as Cousin because 'Ohana means family in Hawaiian. There is also in room dining entertainment. Think coconut races for the kids, hula dancing and even the limbo. It isn't a dinner show but it's certainly fun. If you time your dinner reservation about 1 hour prior to the fireworks at Magic Kingdom, you will be able to see the show from your table while you are finishing your meal with dessert. The lights even dim and music gets piped in. It's a perfect way to end a birthday celebration at Walt Disney World.
Because you have such a large group, I suggest calling the group dining line directly 407-939-7707 to make your reservation.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.
