My entire family is going to DW this summer, but sadly, only half of us are staying on property. Can the half that isn’t staying on property make dining reservations in advance even though they will be buying their tickets the day they arrive?

    Hi Miranda!
Thanks for your question and for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Sounds like an incredibly memorable summer heating up for you and your family at Walt Disney World!! Very cool!
Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) are able to be made up to 180 days in advance of your trip, whether staying on-property at a Walt Disney resort hotel or not. And at many dining locations, that 180 window is necessary due to the popularity of certain locations. So, I would advise that everyone starts booking as soon as possible as the summer window is now open!
Resort guests can book 180 days out PLUS 10 days for their trip. Meaning, 180 days prior to your vacation beginning, if you are staying at a Disney resort, you can book up to 10 days of your stay all at once.
Non-Disney resort guests can book only 180 days out from the current date.

I hope this helps and I wish you all a Magical trip!!
