Hi, we will be entering Epcot at the International Gateway and going straight to the Garden Grill for Breakfast. Epcot confuses me more than the other parks and I just need to know the quickest way and approximately how long it will take to get there

Welcome to planDisney, Mary Pat! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. Consider me your personal GPS! I've got your turn-by-turn directions ready to go, so let's jump right in and start the journey. The secret to this route is simple: stick to the left the whole way.

After you enter EPCOT through the International Gateway, stick to the left side of the path and keep walking straight, keeping the lagoon on your right. You'll breeze through the UK Pavilion and then into the Canada Pavilion toward the front of World Showcase. When you spot Refreshment Port, turn left there and walk past the restrooms. You're now angling away from World Showcase and into the center of the park.

Keep going until you reach CommuniCore Plaza, then turn left again and follow the signs for World Nature and the Land Pavilion. You'll see a sign for "The Land" ahead, and that building is where Garden Grill is located, so head right in! This part's important: Garden Grill is on the second floor, and you'll enter the building on the second floor, so don't go down the escalator. Just walk along the upper level and you'll find the restaurant right there.

At an easy pace, the walk from the International Gateway to Garden Grill is about 10 minutes. If you're heading there first thing in the morning, budget a few extra minutes for rope drop traffic. The path is flat and straightforward; as long as you keep that "stick to the left" mantra in mind, you'll be golden.

Have a magical day, Mary Pat!
