    Can I enter the pool in the Polynesian Resort with my 6 months old baby if he's wearing a swim-diaper? Or does the pool only allow potty trained babies? I couldn't find a clear policy and I remembered that on cruises they usually specify thi

    Hello Adam! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    My family and I recently returned from a combination Disney Fantasy Cruise and stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort this past summer.

    When packing for our trip, we were sure to bring swimming diapers even though we knew that swim diapers were not allowed in the pools on-board the Disney Cruise Line ships. Unlike the Disney Cruise Line Ships, children are allowed to enter the pools at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels wearing swim diapers under their bathing suits. Kids are not required to be potty trained before they are able to use the pool areas.

    While at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, there is also the Kiki Tiki's Splash Play Area for kids. However, you may find the excitement and fun a little more than a 6-month old can handle. For a quieter swimming experience, you may want to take a dip in the Oasis Pool which is generally quieter than the Lava Pool.

    While you relax, be sure to pick up a Dole Whip from nearby Pineapple Lanai.
