We want to enter the park via Monorail. We do not have early entry, but want to board the monorail as early as possible. What time does the first monorail train depart from the station for guests who do not have early entry? We have tix and reservations

Hey there, hi there, Deborah! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by!

Your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth is just days away! I love to hear you are putting the finishing touches on your planning and are thinking about taking the highway in the sky to enter Disneyland Park. The Monorail times will mirror the park times for that day. This means if you do not have Early Entry privileges, you will be able to board the Monorail at 8:00 a.m., that morning. The gates at the front of the park do sometimes start letting people in to line up on Main Street, U.S.A., 10-15 minutes prior to park opening, so I would recommend getting to the Monorail station at least 15 minutes prior to try to get in line and be ready when they do start allowing you to board for park opening.

Exiting the Monorail on the edge of Tomorrowland gives you the perfect plan to head to Space Mountain with a short wait time. Our family is definitely on team rope drop. We love to utilize those first two hours of park opening when you can really get in quite a few rides with the lowest wait times of the day.

Deborah, I hope you have the most magical time. We are here for any other last-minute planning questions you might have. See you real soon!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
