Do you have to ENTER the park BY noon on your reservation to avoid being a no show? What if you don’t get there until the afternoon but you’re still planning to go to the park the second half of the day?

Hey there, hi there, Tiffany! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you're here to ask us a question about theme park ticket reservations.

It sounds like you may be a part of the Magic Key holder family! I hope you are enjoying your Magic Key. I am happy to share that you do not have to be in the parks by noon to avoid being a no-show. You would just need to enter the parks at some point that day. I have friends who are Magic Key holders who don't head to the parks until their kids are out of school and they are off work. The bonus to showing up in the afternoon after 11:00 a.m. when park hopping begins is that you can enter either park regardless of which park you have reserved as long as the park is not at capacity.

It's the most festive time of the year in the parks and I am so excited for another year of Disney Festival of the Holidays. As a Magic Key holder, you are able to get a specially priced Sip & Savor Pass, which I always like to take advantage of. I love that you do not have to use the Sip & Savor Pass in one visit, you can use it between multiple visits during the festival.

Tiffany, thanks so much for stopping by! We are always here for any planning questions you might have.

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mama and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. We love that we are close enough to Disneyland Resort to make a last-minute trip to see the Mouse quite frequently. You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
