Hi Chris! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am thrilled to hear that you have plans to attend
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! This event is a spook-tacularly ghoul time between the unique Characters available, the hauntingly entertaining shows, and the chance to trick-or-treat around
Magic Kingdom Park. It is the best!
The official party time is 7:00 PM until 12:00 AM (midnight), but it has been my experience that the tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party allow admittance as early as 4:00 PM. Since this isn't the official time and always subject to change, it is a good idea to ask a Cast Member to verify.
Most
rides are open during the party, but there are usually a few exceptions since trick-or-treat stations are set up near or inside some attractions. Jungle Cruise, Mickey's PhilharMagic, and Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress are a few examples of this. You will find a few rides get special Halloween makeovers including Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mad Tea Party, and Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor which make for some really spook-tastic experiences!
Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular is an all-new fireworks show that takes place during the party and can be seen at Cinderella Castle for prime viewing. I suggest picking up a
party-exclusive snack and finding your viewing spot at least 30 minutes early. You don't want to miss it!
Enjoy your vacation, Chris! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
