Do you have to enter the park of HS before you can join a cue for boarding groups in Star Wars land?

    Bright Suns, Carmen!

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, the newest addition to Disney's Hollywood Studios, is an immersive experience for guests with so many things to do at the Black Spire Outpost:  attractions, entertainment, dining, and shopping.  Of all these things, only one requires that you join a boarding group:  Star Wars:  Rise of the Resistance. To do this, all members of your party will need to have entered Disney's Hollywood Studios, and I recommend being at the park before it opens.  Once you are inside the theme park and the park has officially opened, you will want to visit the My Disney Experience app to be assigned to your boarding group.  You can read further advice on how this works from the Star Wars:  Galaxy's Edge Tips & Information.

I have already experienced this attraction, and I was absolutely awe-struck by how amazing it is. For fear of giving away any spoilers, I won't say anything else except that it is worth the early morning wake-up call!

If we can help with any further questions, please let us know.  'Til the Spires!  -Kara
