Hiya Stacey - welcome to
planDisney!
I'm so glad that you found us and stopped by to ask a question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations! Right now is an especially magical time to visit - the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing and there is pixie dust swirling through the air everywhere!
Staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel has so many benefits. I love the immersive story-telling and theming, great dining and recreation options, and of course the amazing service from the Resort Cast Members. Beyond that, there are
some specific benefits available only to registered Guests of Disney Resorts (and select other properties), including
Early Theme Park Entry!
To take advantage of this benefit, just make sure that everyone in your crew has valid Theme Park admission and a Park Pass Reservation for the park you want to start at. You'll also want to make sure that everyone is included as a registered Guest on your Disney Resort reservation.
The procedures for Early Theme Park Entry can vary depending on many factors, but it mostly depends on how many Guests are present to take advantage of it each morning. My advice is to plan ahead and leave plenty of time to travel to the park. Once you arrive, Cast Members will be present to direct Guests eligible for Early Theme Park Entry to specific queues to enter the park. In my experience, sometimes they will be holding up small signs, and other times they would verbally explain to Guests where to go. In some circumstances, other Guests will also be permitted to enter a park but will be held back in a specific area while Guests like you who have Early Theme Park Entry are permitted to enjoy the park. Simply keep your eyes and ears open for any Cast Member instructions and you'll be on your way to starting a magical day!
I hope this information is helpful -
please let me know if you have any other questions while planning!
