Hey Kristi,
Welcome to planDisney! I am super excited that you have brought your planning question to us today. Many incredible things are happening at Walt Disney World Resort in April, including the
World’s Most Magical Celebration and my personal favorite
EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival.
In my experience paying for
Theme Park tickets with multiple gift cards is not easily done online. The system typically only takes one gift card and then requests an additional form of payment to pay for the remainder of the balance. One suggestion is to combine your multiple gift cards into one gift card. You can then use that one gift card to pay for your Theme Park tickets. I always do this before my Walt Disney World Resort trips because it is easier to keep track of one gift card in my wallet. To do this, you will need to:
1. Visit the
Disney Gift Card website.
2. Next, log onto the site using your Disney account information.
3. Then scroll to “My Cards” and add each of the card numbers individually.
4. Select one card to be your “main card” and transfer the other card balances (up to $1,000) to the card you selected.
5. Take the card you just combined the balances on and write some indicator (like Mickey Mouse Ears) on that card with a Sharpie, so you know which one has the total balance.
Now you can use that one card to pay for your Park Tickets! If, for some reason, your balance exceeds $1,000, I would recommend either calling a Cast Member at the Disney Ticket Sales department at 407-939-7679 or going to
Guest Relations at Walt Disney World Resort to pay with multiple gift cards.
I hope this was helpful and that you can purchase your tickets for your April trip with a Disney Gift Card!
Let
me know if there is anything else I can do to help you plan your upcoming trip.
Happy Planning!
