Can we enter and exit the same park with a single park ticket? Have senior citizens in the party and they may need to rest during the day by leaving the park (and returning to hotel or at least car).

    Hello Vignesh,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Walt Disney World is the perfect spot for groups of all ages to make and share priceless memories!

With any ticket, even a single park ticket, you can exit and re-enter the same park later in the day. In fact, even if you didn't have senior citizens in your party, I would recommend it. As much as I love every Disney World park, they can get crowded, the weather can get hot, and it can be exhausting to stay there all day. Our family usually likes to get an early start, enjoy the park until early afternoon and then head to our resort for a few hours, either to nap or swim. Then we head back to the parks refreshed and ready for some more park time.

If you aren't staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or close enough to head back to your hotel, you could also make a lunch reservation at a restaurant in one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels or in Disney Springs. Just sitting down to enjoy a meal together can help the group recharge. Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a great spot, and you'll get to view the animals on the savanna while you dine.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
