Hi there, Karin! Welcome to planDisney!
First and foremost, I'd like to thank you for considering the health and safety of other Guests and Cast Members. Disneyland Resort is still hard at work in "returning to a land of magic," and your proactivity with this question goes a long way in helping achieve that goal!
According to the
latest health and safety measures set forth by the Disneyland Resorts, Guests are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test result before entering the parks, resorts and
Downtown Disney District. In short, Guests will not be asked to show proof of test results or vaccination status to enter. Therefore, a rapid test would be sufficient to help ease your mind upon entering the Disneyland Resort, but will not be required.
Face coverings will be required at designated locations throughout the Disneyland Resort for all Guests, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings will be optional throughout most outdoor areas. Be sure to bring a mask with you for times when it is required, or if you feel more comfortable wearing it during your visit. It is important to keep in mind that policies regarding vaccinations, COVID-19 testing and face coverings are subject to change.
Karin, if you're planning your visit for after April 22, 2022, you are in for a major treat! It was recently announced that
World of Color,
Disneyland Forever Fireworks and the Main Street Electrical parade will all make their much-anticipated return! You'll be able to enjoy these Nighttime Spectaculars while munching on your favorite Mickey-shaped snack and soaking in all of the magic of the Happiest Place on Earth!
Until next time,
Ashley
