To enter Disneyland requires a valid ticket and reservation. I have the reservations, where do I obtain the valid ticket? We're staying at Paradise Pier during our trip.

    Hello Jerome,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It's great to hear you're planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort!

You mention you have reservations, and you're asking about where to obtain theme park tickets. It sounds like maybe the reservations you mention are the reservations for your stay at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, but it could be that the reservations you mention are your theme park reservations. I'm going to try to share some information that I hope will be helpful.

If you have reservations for your stay at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, and don't yet have theme park tickets and theme park reservations, you'll want to use the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations tools online.

The Theme Park Tickets & Reservations tools will guide you to take care of buying your theme park tickets and making your theme park reservations at the same time. The tools will step you through the process of selecting the number of days you want to visit the parks, selecting the number of tickets you need, selecting your ticket type, and selecting the dates for your theme park reservations based on reservation availability. When you select the dates for your theme park reservations, you'll be prompted to choose which theme park you want to visit. If you choose to purchase a ticket type of Park Hopper Ticket, you would choose the theme park to visit first in the day, and you could then visit the other theme park after 1 p.m. based on theme park capacity.

You can also use the Disneyland Resort mobile app to purchase theme park tickets and make theme park reservations.

You can review the theme park reservations you have made by looking at your "My Theme Park Reservations" information in your Disneyland Resort account. You can also see your plans in the Disneyland Resort mobile app.

Before purchasing theme park tickets for a visit, it can be helpful to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar.

It's possible, Jerome, that you might have booked a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package that includes Resort hotel reservations for Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel and theme park tickets. In this case you could simply use the "If you’ve already purchased a ticket" feature of the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations tools to make your theme park reservations.

Jerome, I'm hopeful this information helps you with your question, and you can always reach out to the   Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team by calling them at (714) 781-4636. A Cast Member can help with additional questions about theme park tickets.

Here's wishing you a wonderful stay at the Disneyland Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
