Is there a way to ensure you sit at the same table with other guests?

    Hi Brittany!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I know you are eagerly counting down the days until you head to sea with Captain Mickey for a vacation (and Halloween) you won’t soon forget!  You are going to have the best time when you visit Castaway Cay, one of my favorite ports EVER!  Tip – grab two of the HUGE chocolate chip cookies and sandwich those between the soft serve ice cream for a deliciously refreshing after lunch dessert!  Boy oh boy it's good!

Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining is such a unique system and I absolutely love it!  I love being able to experience all of the main dining rooms and having it scheduled for me!  One less thing for me to have to plan or worry about which is something that no one wants to do when they are on vacation, right?!?!  If you want to dine with another travel party my recommendation would be to contact Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 or via the chat feature online to have your reservation noted.  Please make sure you have the other Guests’ reservation number when you do this.  Additionally, you can also link the reservations together in your online account.  Doing this will also allow you to see one another’s plans and you can even book onboard activities for all parties linked together!  We did this when we were traveling with my parents and my sister’s family so that we could make plans for the entire group.  But, even if you do this, I would still recommend contacting Disney Cruise Line as well to ensure your dining preference is noted.

When you arrive at Port Canaveral for embarkation you will receive your Key to the World card which has your dining rotation printed on it as well as your table number which is nice to have handy in case you forget where to go each night!  If you are a first-time Guest, you may also want to bring a lanyard for each member of your travel party to carry their Key to the World card in or you can purchase one in one of the onboard gift shops!

Have the best time ever, Brittany!  And, please come back with any other questions you have as you continue planning!

    Happy Sailing!
