Hello there Kelly,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for this great question - this kind of question is exactly our specialty!
I certainly understand that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first when you're starting to plan your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. However, the tools provided on the Disneyland Resort website make it easy to get everything set up.
In my opinion, the most straightforward way to book your trip is by using the "Book Your Vacation" tool near the top of the
Disneyland Resort website's homepage. To start, enter the dates you're interested in visiting, the number of individuals in your party, and your hotel preferences then click the "Find Rates" button.
You'll be taken to a results page that shows hotel rates for the
Disneyland Resort hotels as well as a link to see rates for Good Neighbor hotels (nearby off-resort hotels) as well. From here, you'll select the hotel and then the room you're interested in booking, and next you'll be taken to the
theme park tickets selection page.
On this page, you can select the tickets you're interested in purchasing and whether you'd like to add the
Park Hopper option, which allows you to hop between both parks each day of your visit, and the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass option, which allows you to book return times to enter the Lightning Lane queues for some of the most popular attractions around the parks. I'm a big proponent of both of these options if they fit your budget!
Once all of these details are selected, paid for, and reserved then you're ready to book your flight details through your preferred airline vendor and can use the details of your vacation package, which you just booked. If you run into any issues or have specific questions about your trip then you can always
reach out to a Cast Member at the Vacation Packages line as well.
Thanks again for your question, Kelly! I hope you have a wonderful time on your upcoming trip.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
