Hello Kathryn! Grandparents are the best! I’m so glad that you are thinking of every aspect of your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Don’t worry! Because of your advanced planning, your granddaughter is going to have a great time!
Disney Dining locations are able to
accommodate many food allergies and special dietary requests. In most cases, a Guest should simply notify a Cast Member of their allergies and/or dietary request upon arrival to the restaurant. Special menus and allergy guides can be provided at most table service and quick service dining locations throughout the resort hotels, as well as the Disney Parks!
Guests who feel that they might have a unique allergy or dietary request may also contact Disney Dining at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. Guests can contact Disney Dining after they have made dining reservations. Please do not make contact prior to 14 days before your arrival.
Kathryn, I suggest sharing the information regarding your granddaughter with both the host/hostess greeting you at the restaurant, as well as the Cast Member who will be serving your table. When it comes to food allergies, the more notification the better!
Have a magical (and delicious) vacation, Kathryn!
Hakuna Matata! Jonathan
