Welcome back to planDisney, Donna!
Looks as if your visit to
Walt Disney World is around the corner--you must be so excited!
As a fellow
Disney Rewards fan, I can tell you that there are a few different ways you can utilize all of those Reward points when purchasing tickets to
Magic Kingdom Park. First, you can call the
Disney Help Center and ask a Cast Member to assist you with your purchase. Simply explain what you'd like to do and the Cast Member can apply the Disney Reward Points to your purchase, then use your Disney Visa Card to pay for the balance. It's super easy---I just did something similar last week when I called to add the
Disney Dining Plan to my resort reservation. Using both my Rewards points and my Disney Visa was a seamless process when handled by the pros at Disney.
Another option would be to purchase those 5 Magic Kingdom tickets using your Disney Reward Points, then go into your My Disney Experience account and upgrade them to the Park Hopper Option. If online, go to the My Disney Experience tab on the far right, then select My Plans and Tickets. Scroll down a bit and you'll see that your Daily Itinerary tab is likely defaulted to open, so click just to the right on the Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker tab. Your active tickets will be visible there as well as the option to upgrade to Park Hoppers.
If on the
My Disney Experience app, click on the hamburger--three horizontal lines stacked on top of each other--in the bottom right corner. On the next screen, you'll see My Tickets & Passes in the top left. There, you'll find your tickets as well as the option to upgrade to Park Hoppers, too.
Easy peasy!
Donna, enjoy those hard-earned Reward Points in the most magical way possible--touring the parks! As you plan your visit, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
