Hey, Sandra! Thanks for steering your way to planDisney before embarking on your Disney Cruise.
It sounds like you're gearing up to drive to Port Canaveral. The thrill of catching that first glimpse of your ship as you cross the bridge is truly something to smile about. So, buckle up, and let's shift gears to the fast lane as we discuss the drive ahead.
As you approach Port Canaveral, watch for signs directing you to the cruise terminal. Before you roll into the parking garage, drop off your checked luggage for transport onto the ship. Remember to keep your travel documents handy, including everyone's passport or citizenship documents and your Port Arrival Form for check-in.
With your luggage handed off, you can turn the corner and enter the parking garage. The rates are based on the length of your cruise and are paid before entering the garage. For the latest costs, visit the
"Arrival Information" section on the Port Canaveral page. Having driven to Port Canaveral multiple times, I'm pleased to report ample parking is available.
You’ll be welcomed aboard in no time! While waiting for my boarding group number to be called, I like to open the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, view my dining rotation, and scroll through the Daily Activity Schedule. If you see something that
catches your eye, click the heart icon to “favorite” the activity. The app sends a reminder about 15 minutes beforehand. These notifications come in handy, especially when the excitement of being onboard takes over!
Wishing you safe travels and smooth sailing ahead.
SEAS the adventure!
