Hi, Enjoying the panel! Visiting in Aug. With all our ADRs, we want to wing it one day and take the family to Beaches&Cream for lunch or dinner. Best way to get there from DHS? Can you suggest a fun alternative close-by if it's too busy?

Donna, your best chance to dine at Beaches and Cream (especially during the summer season) is to dine early. I would suggest 11 a.m. for lunch or 4 p.m for dinner. Or somewhere in between for a mid-day meal. This restaurant does not take reservations so it’s first come, first serve.

It is old-fashioned fun in this beach themed café. However, the restaurant is tiny.  Surprisingly, small!

If you should not wish to wait, you are pleasant walk from the Boardwalk Resort. There you will find the ESPN Club and other restaurants. Just remember to dine early if you wish to try to walk-in to a table service restaurant.

You could also walk to Epcot via the International Gateway as long as you have a park hopper ticket. Inside Epcot you’ll find many dining choices. To wing it, you may want to go to the Sunshine Seasons food court in the Land Pavilion within Future World. We also like the Cantina de San Angel which is the Mexican counter-service restaurant. You could also try The Fountain Café at the Dolphin hotel. The Spoodles Take-out pizza window is along the Boardwalk which offers a nice setting for a quick, meal.

From Hollywood Studios, you will exit the turnstiles and proceed straight ahead (and slightly left) to the Water Launch dock. The Friendship boat will take you to the Yacht and Beach Club resort. You’ll exit at the dock with the lighthouse.  It’s a pleasant sail across Crescent Lake. Note that these boats make stops at the WDW Dolphin and Swan hotels as well as the Boardwalk Resort.
