Hi. we enjoyed a trip to WDW this past February. We are looking forward to planning another trip. We wanted to know when was the best time of year to travel. We are looking for small crowds, possible swiming? our daughter is 4

    Hi Genevive,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I am so glad you enjoyed your trip to Walt Disney World!  I have found that this is the perfect vacation destination with small children.

Probably the least crowded, and historically warm month to travel to Walt Disney World is September.  After the Labor Day holiday most children return to school, therefore the crowd levels drop significantly.  The weather is still very warm and humid so swimming is always on our daily agenda.  The downfall is that it is hurricane season, and there is simply no predicting how this could affect your vacation plans.

    Hope this helps!
