Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, James!
I’m also a huge fan of the
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party. We celebrated my young Padawan’s birthday at a party last year, and it was such a special night, filled with his favorite characters, delicious treats (and how about that Lightspeeder Margarita for the Jedi Master adults?), and the VIP viewing spot that gives an epic view of the
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks show.
Dessert parties are tricky, because reservations don’t always open up at the 180-day mark like other Walt Disney World dining experiences. In my experience, it’s usually around 60-90 days in advance, and I’ve seen it even later. As the earthlings at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios prepare for a new adventure in a galaxy far, far away when
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens on August 29, 2019, they may be putting some final plans and transmissions into place and getting their droids in a row. I bet as we get closer to our opportunity to visit Black Spire Outpost, more details about Star Wars experiences throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be unveiled.
James, for the latest dispatches and plans, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. They’ve been posting so much amazing news about Batuu and beyond lately –
now, more than ever, it’s an out-of-this-world time to visit Walt Disney World, with so many exciting new experiences. I cannot wait for my chance to sip blue milk, take a ride on the Millennium Falcon, and get some more time with my loveable pal Chewbacca. I’m using The Force to send you all my intergalactic pixie dust that those dates appear on your datapad soon, and your family is able to enjoy the show this October.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
