I enjoyed the 5K, this last spring break, on Castaway Cay and the cute medal they give you. My family are doing the Dream end of December and wonder if Disney will have similar 5K, by then, on Lighthouse Cay?

Martin! Ahoy and welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to hear that you've got another magical Disney Cruise on the horizon!

Thank you for sailing by with your great question, Martin. I don't blame you for wanting to earn another cute 5k medal. I've had the opportunity to experience the 5k course on Castaway Cay myself and it was a pure delight.

While Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point does not currently have a 5k route similar to the one at Castaway Cay, nor do we have any insight on one coming in the future, there's still plenty of fun to be had on Disney's newest private destination in the Bahamas!

Here's one idea: The Lookout Cay Discovery Trail is a nature walk offering you the chance to explore the wildlife and flora that make Eleuthera unique, and available to do on your own for no extra charge. I suggest taking a peek at the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app when onboard to learn more, if you're interested.

You may also want to consider booking a Port Adventure, Martin, which could include renting a bicycle, snorkeling, or fishing by kayak. By the end of your action-packed day on Lookout Cay you'll be saying, "5k who?"

Well, that should get you on your way! Although I may not have given the answer you were hoping for, Martin, I hope I was able to provide a few fun ideas! Some of my family's fondest memories are from our time aboard a Disney Cruise and I sincerely wish you the most magical voyage.

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
