Enjoy reading the panel! Can we get away without making diner reservations for a 5 day stay?

Hi James.   Obviously there is no rule that you must make advance dining reservations when you visit Disney.   However, there are a few factors you should consider in making your decision.   If you know of a dining experience you definitely want to enjoy (like Character Meals or Dinner shows), I would not risk going without reservations.   This would be especially true if you visit during peak times like the Summer or Holidays.   Cancelations and/or walk-up reservations will be harder to come by during these times.

Remember that most reservations can be canceled if for some reason you are unable to make it.  Therefore, I think the safe bet would be to plan out for a few reservations if you have a good sense of where you may be during your five day stay.    Hope you enjoy your trip!
