Can we enjoy extra Magic Hours on the day we are checking out of a Disney Resort?

    Hi Erin!

Thanks for your question. I do love Extra Magic Hours, and since I'm a morning person, I particularly LOVE morning Extra Magic Hours at Disney World! There's no better feeling than getting in a theme park a little earlier than most and enjoying attractions, or even a bite to eat, before the mad rush of wonderful guests come bursting through the Disney entrance ways.. :-)

To answer your question: So long as you have theme park tickets to cover the length of your stay, you absolutely CAN enjoy Extra Magic Hours on your departure date. For example, if you had a 4-night, 5-day resort reservation, you would either have to purchase a 5-day ticket (if hitting a theme park every day), or a lesser day ticket without hitting the theme parks each day.

The only advice I would offer is to to make sure you're packed up and ready to go before you make that trip to the theme park. Check-out time for resort rooms is at 11AM, so you would either have to hit the park early, then be back in time to pack up and check out, or have everything packed up, checked out, then hit the theme parks one last time before exiting Disney property.

Hope this helps some. Have a magically extravagant time at Disney!
