We want to enjoy Doc & Sofia for my daughter (4), but my son (7) has his heart set on being a Jedi. Which is better to sign up for Jedi Training, an 8, 9 or 10:25 reservation at HV? Help! Thank you for all you do!

    Hi Heather ~

You are an awesome Mom for planning ahead to make this a special trip for both of your kids. Looks like you will be visiting in early July which will be a peak season time. I would look at the online calendar for Hollywood Studios for the day you plan to visit.

If the park opens at 8:00 a.m. , I would make my reservations at Hollywood and Vine for 8:30 a.m. or after. Plan to be at Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS) as soon as they open and head straight over to the ABC Sound Studio. That way you can sign up your son for Jedi Training Academy as soon as registration begins.

If DHS opens at 9:00 a.m., I would make my reservations at Hollywood and Vine for 8:00 a.m. or after 9:30 a.m. If you get an 8:00 a.m. reservation, you should have time to finish your meal and head over to the ABC Sound Studio as the park is opening. If you see your meal is running a bit long, you can always head over with your son while the other members of your family finish up and meet you over there. Registration can take around 30 minutes depending on how many Padawans are already in line. If you make your reservations at 9:30 a.m. or after, you should have time to sign up your son and then make it over to Hollywood and Vine for breakfast.
