I would like to enjoy a character meal, but don't want to take time away from enjoying the parks. I am thinking about trying for a character breakfast (7am) at Goofy's kitchen on the day we fly home. How much time should I allow for the meal?

    Hi Stacie,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, where I'm happy to answer your question about dining reservations at Goofy's Kitchen!
The times I've dined at this very fun restaurant, I've usually given myself an hour and and half to check-in, take Disney PhotoPass photos with Goofy outside of the restaurant, get seated, make two–three trips to the buffet, feed my boys and take pictures with the characters that come around to visit us at the table.
If you're not traveling with children who require constant attention, then I would say you can safely get away with blocking off a solid hour for breakfast.
I say this because as you know, Goofy's Kitchen is a buffet style restaurant. You can pretty much head over to the buffet area and serve yourself without having to wait for a server (BTW, make sure you try my favorite– peanut butter & jelly pizza).
Also, depending on how many characters you want to meet, know that there's usually a constant flow of characters. You wouldn't be left waiting long periods of time before Snow White or Donald Duck arrived at your table, which makes it convenient if you need to leave soon.
Overall, I think you made the right choice in booking a Character Dining Experience... an hour should definitely be enough to end your trip with extra Magical memories!
    Have a Very Merry Unbirthday!
