My DH has endured many character meals; we have DDs 4 and 2. Next trip: CRT, CP, CM, HandV, ARBH, and 1900PF. He has requested a sit down meal without a character. I have narrowed it to Le Cellier or Chefs de France. Which would be more enjoyable for us?

    Katy:

Bless your husband who is doing the whole Disney dining experience for the girls!  He does deserve a special meal!

My husband and I have both eaten at Le Cellier and Chefs de France several times and both have been pleasant experiences (especially if you get a table in the sunroom at Chefs de France).  But to me, Le Cellier, with its hearty meat and potatoes menu loaded with lots of steaks to which men generally tend to flock, seems to say "Honey, thank you for enduring" just a wee bit more than escargot...

To ease your mind, check out both restaurant's menu at www.alleears.net under its Dining heading then the Epcot subcategory to the left of the screen, and see if something you know he'd enjoy is on either menu.  And let me applaud you for thinking about him on this trip, too!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
