Hello, Misha. Thank you for reaching out to us at planDisney! Let's get your question answered!
How exciting that you're attending an event at the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The facilities at this venue are top-notch and will no doubt be such a great way to experience the championships! Be sure to
check out the A-Z Guide on their website for answers to many frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit!
Currently, there aren't buses that will transport Guests staying at one of the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels to the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Instead, Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue. Of course, if you're bringing your own vehicle or renting one, you can use it to get you there. You can also look into a
rideshare service, which is usually my preference. While there are times in which certain event organizers arrange for transport, you would have to contact the organizer of the event you are attending for more information.
When you're visiting, I hope that you're able to enjoy the theme parks as well. I find February to be a wonderful time to visit as the weather is typically milder, and it's a really nice escape from the winter weather I'm used to. Plus, there's always something new and exciting happening at the resort, and
2025 is no exception. Talk about a wonderful way to celebrate all of the achievements at the championship! And don’t forget to soak up the charm of the Disney details during your visit, whether it's the intricate mahogany accents in the resort decor or the refreshing
pineapple-inspired treats that always make me feel like I'm on vacation.
As
Walt Disney once remarked, "Around here, we don’t look backward for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things." Let this inspire your team throughout the championships and beyond. And remember, “
You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." Now,
that's some
award-winning advice, both on and off the field!
Be sure to reach out again with any other questions!
Keep moving forward and giving it your all,
Matt
