Hiya, Angela!
You can absolutely hit the highlights of the
50th Anniversary Celebration taking place at
Walt Disney World. I've got a few tips to help make sure you see as much as time will allow.
First, you want to stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel if you can. This will give you access to
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, exclusive to Disney resort guests. It just so happens that on the evening of July 1st, these bonus hours will be at
Magic Kingdom Park. This is where you'll find the crown jewel of the celebration, Cinderella Castle. Decked out in her party best, the castle is the centerpiece of
Disney Enchantment, a brand new nighttime spectacular.
Next - and this is going to be important - add
Disney Genie+ service to your theme park ticket. You'll be able to take advantage of snagging a return window for some attractions later in the day, which gives you a shorter wait through
Lightning Lane. Also, consider the Individual Lightning Lane attractions. For a nominal fee, you can pick a window to return to some of the most popular attractions, which can save you a ton of time waiting in line.
As a theme park guest, you can also use
Early Theme Park Entry, which will give you 30 minutes in the morning to visit a park before the general public. Your time is super tight that morning, but this might help.
Angela, as soon as you possibly can, make your
theme park reservations. Your visit is the kick-off to the holiday weekend, and park reservations can fill up quickly.
